Box Tops: Remember
to clip box tops for education! This is “free money” for the PTA that
funds field trips. Those 10-cent pieces of cardboard really add up
fast, creating hundreds of dollars for our school. A collection box is
in the front lobby of the school. Remember to put your child’s grade
level on the back -- there will be an ice cream party at the end of the
school year for the grade that collects the most.
Get involved: Consider making school involvement a New Year’s resolution. It’s never too late to join PTA and there are many needs for volunteerism. Membership dues are $10.00. If you need a membership envelope, stop by the Ravensworth office or contact Sally McColl at sallymccoll@gmail.com.
GROW Team: The GROW Team has planned an environmentally themed, curriculum-based program this year to involve hands-on outdoor projects for each grade. In order for this program to succeed, we need lots of volunteer help! Ideally, we would like to have a parent volunteer for each homeroom class to be the room leader for these projects. For more information, contact Page Albrecht at pvansickle@cox.net.
Grace Art: Come out and volunteer for this special art program and enjoy time in your child’s classroom. It doesn’t take a lot of time, and it is a lot of fun!
